Fibro Freedom Therapy: Break the Cycle of Fibromyalgia Symptoms

If you’re trapped in the loop of pain, fatigue, poor sleep, and brain fog, Fibro Freedom Therapy helps you understand what is driving the cycle—and how to start interrupting it.

Living with fibromyalgia can feel like being trapped in a body that never fully recovers.

     You wake up already tired.
Pain moves around your body without warning.
     Sleep rarely feels restorative.
Brain fog, overwhelm, and frustration become your "normal."

Many people are told they simply have to learn to live with it. But fibromyalgia is not random, and your symptoms are not happening in isolation. They are part of a persistent cycle within the nervous system. When you understand that cycle, you can begin to interrupt it.

That’s the foundation of Fibro Freedom Therapy.

Why Fibromyalgia Feels Like a Viscous Cycle

Most people with fibromyalgia experience a cluster of symptoms that feed into one another:

     Widespread pain and persistent fatigue
     Poor or disrupted sleep
     "Fibro fog" and mental exhaustion
     Heightened sensitivity to stress

These symptoms create a self-perpetuating loop. For example: Pain increases stress. Stress disrupts sleep. Poor sleep drains energy. Low energy makes pain harder to cope with.

Many approaches try to tackle just one symptom at a time. However, fibromyalgia rarely responds to a single fix because it behaves like an overloaded system.

The Fibro Symptom Loop

Fibro Symptom Loop.png

Fibro Freedom Therapy is built around The Fibro Symptom Loop model. This explains how your symptoms interact and reinforce each other, kept in motion by a nervous system under long-term load.

This load isn't just emotional; it includes:
     Physical stress and ongoing pain
     Sleep disruption and inflammation
     Sensory overload

When the nervous system stays in this "high-load" state, energy production drops, sleep becomes lighter, and pain sensitivity increases. Each change feeds back into the loop.

Fibro Freedom Therapy focuses on interrupting this pattern and reducing the load on the system to allow for better regulation

My Personal Journey with Fibromyalgia

Mark Robert – Practitioner and creator of Fibro Freedom Therapy

Mark Robert – Practitioner and creator of Fibro Freedom Therapy

My interest in fibromyalgia is not just professional—it’s personal.

I know what it is like to be in so much pain that it feels unbearable, and so fatigued that simply climbing the stairs to bed feels like an impossible task. I have lived with the brain fog that stops you from thinking clearly, and the daily struggle of trying to get out of bed after another night of poor-quality sleep.

As a hypnotherapist and NLP practitioner, I became determined to understand what was actually happening beneath the surface of these symptoms. I didn’t just want to "manage" the pain; I wanted to understand the mechanism driving it.

Through research, training, and personal experimentation, I began applying a combination of techniques aimed at reducing nervous system overload and improving regulation.

Over time, I saw significant improvements in my own symptoms. Moving from that state of total exhaustion to recovery is what eventually led me to develop Fibro Freedom Therapy.

I don't just understand the theory behind the "Symptom Loop"; I have lived it, and I have found the way through it.

What is Fibro Freedom Therapy

This is an integrative approach designed to reduce the drivers that keep symptoms active. Rather than masking pain, we look at the wider system:

Nervous System Stress: Shifting the body out of chronic stress states.
Energy & Sleep: Improving the conditions for restorative rest.
Cognitive Load: Addressing the mental exhaustion of "fibro fog."
Pattern Interruption: Using evidence-informed tools to shift long-standing symptom         patterns.

The Tools of Fibro Freedom Therapy

I use a range of evidence-informed approaches that focus on calming the nervous system and shifting long-standing symptom patterns. We don't just talk about the problem; we use practical methods to change how your body responds to the "load" it is carrying.

Clinical Hypnotherapy

This isn't about "mind control." It is a practical way to guide the mind and body out of a chronic "survival" state and into a state of deep systemic regulation. It helps reset the baseline of your nervous system.

Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP)

NLP provides tools to influence how your brain processes internal signals and experiences. It helps identify and "re-wire" the automatic patterns that can keep a symptom loop running in the background.

Psychosensory Techniques (e.g., Faster EFT)

These methods involve simple sensory input (like tapping) combined with focused attention. This helps to reduce the "stress signaling" in the brain, effectively lowering the intensity of the emotional and physical responses to pain.

Guided Regulation Techniques

I teach you specific tools you can use yourself to shift your nervous system from "survival mode" back into a state of recovery. These are designed to be used in daily life when you feel a flare-up beginning or when energy levels start to drop.

Who Is This For?

Fibro Freedom Therapy is designed for individuals who are tired of simply "managing" symptoms and are ready to look at the underlying mechanics of their condition. It may be particularly helpful if you:

Feel stuck in a cycle of flare-ups that seem to trigger for no clear reason.

Experience the "big four" of fibromyalgia: widespread pain, persistent fatigue, poor sleep, and brain fog.

Find that your system feels "overloaded," where even small amounts of stress or activity lead to a significant crash.

Are looking for practical, self-regulation tools rather than just a way to mask the pain.

Want to understand the "Why" behind your symptoms so you can finally start addressing the "How" of recovery.

While my primary focus is supporting those living with fibromyalgia, this approach is also valuable for partners or carers who want to understand the biological mechanisms of the condition to better support their loved ones.
