At Mark Robert Hypnotherapy, I often teach clients how to use Faster EFT as one of their go-to tools for managing pain, anxiety, and emotional stress. It’s simple, powerful, and can be done anywhere — which makes it especially useful for people living with fibromyalgia or other chronic conditions where the nervous system is often on high alert.
Faster EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) is a mind-body approach that blends the wisdom of ancient acupuncture with modern psychology. Instead of using needles, we gently tap on specific meridian points — the same energy pathways used in acupuncture. These points act like circuits within the body’s energy system, and when we tap on them, we help to release blocks or disruptions in that natural energy flow.
When we experience anxiety, fear, or pain, our energy becomes unbalanced, and our brain switches into fight-or-flight mode. Tapping sends calming signals through the nervous system, helping the brain reset, rebalance, and reduce the emotional and physical charge connected to stress or discomfort.

What makes Faster EFT unique is its simplicity. It uses just five or six key tapping points — fewer than traditional EFT — allowing for a quicker and more focused experience. The technique combines tapping with elements of NLP and mindfulness to help you change how your mind processes difficult emotions or memories. Over time, this creates new, healthier neural patterns and gives you a greater sense of calm and control.
Many of my clients find that Faster EFT helps ease not only anxiety and phobias but also the intensity of chronic pain, including fibromyalgia symptoms. It’s an empowering way to reconnect with your body and mind — without relying on external tools or techniques.
Faster EFT is, in essence, about resetting your system. It helps you quiet the body’s stress response, calm the mind, and bring yourself back into balance. The more you practice, the more natural it becomes — a powerful reminder that you already hold within you the ability to self-soothe, heal, and restore equilibrium.
