The phrase "Eat That Frog" was popularised by Brian Tracy in his 2001 book of the same name.
The concept is based on a quote attributed to Mark Twain: "If the first thing you do each morning is to eat a live frog, you can go through the day with the satisfaction of knowing that it is probably the worst thing that is going to happen to you all day long."
It is a metaphor. In reality, your “frog” is your biggest, most challenging task of the day. It is the one you are most likely to procrastinate on and put off until the last minute.
So, “eat that frog,” is another way of saying to start with the biggest, hardest, and most challenging task first.
The idea is that by doing the most daunting task first, you'll have a sense of accomplishment and it will set a positive tone for the rest of the day
